Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 June 2026. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

1. Who provides this service

These terms will identify the service provider once company registration is complete.

2. Information only — not clinical or financial advice

petlogOS is an information-only service. Nothing in the application — including AI-extracted data, cost comparisons, concern summaries, or any other output — constitutes veterinary clinical advice, financial advice, legal advice, or any other regulated advice. You must verify all information with a qualified professional before acting on it. The service helps you organise and understand your own records; it does not replace a vet.

3. AI outputs require your confirmation

Where AI is used to read documents or extract data, the outputs are proposals only. Nothing is saved to your record until you explicitly confirm it. You are responsible for checking every AI-extracted field for accuracy before confirming. The AI may make errors.

4. Your responsibility for accuracy

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data entered into or extracted by petlogOS — including AI-extracted fields, cost figures, and clinical observations. Do not rely on this service as the sole record of your pet's health history in any situation where accuracy is critical.

5. Acceptable use

You may use petlogOS only for your own pets' records. You must not attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the service, introduce malware, or use the service in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep petlogOS available but make no guarantee of uptime. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or due to events outside our control. You should maintain your own copies of critical information by using the data export feature.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of petlogOS, including reliance on AI outputs, cost comparisons, or any other generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service and these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email (to the address you use to sign in) at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the county court of England and Wales.

10. Contact

Contact details will appear here once company registration is complete.
