Cookie & Storage Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026. This policy is provided under PECR Regulation 6 and the Data Use and Access Act 2025.

1. Do we use HTTP cookies?

petlogOS does not set any HTTP cookies on your device. We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or session management.

2. What we do store locally

petlogOS uses your browser's localStorage — a local storage mechanism, not an HTTP cookie — to keep the on-device log available offline. The keys we write are:

These keys are essential for the service to function. They do not leave your device except as part of an API request to our servers (Supabase, Fly.io) when you are signed in. They are not shared with any third party for advertising or tracking purposes.

3. Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — an aggregate, privacy-first analytics service provided by Cloudflare Inc. It does not use cookies, does not track individual users, does not fingerprint devices, and does not share data with advertisers. It measures aggregate page views and performance metrics only.

If you wish to opt out, you can block the domain cloudflareinsights.com in your browser or ad-blocker. This will not affect the functionality of petlogOS in any way.

Cloudflare acts as a processor under UK GDPR. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. How to manage or delete local storage

You can view and delete localStorage keys using your browser's developer tools (usually F12 → Application → Local Storage). Clearing localStorage will remove all on-device entries and sign you out of petlogOS. Cloud entries will not be affected.

To delete your cloud data, use Your data & privacy → Erase everything in the app.
